If you're a career center or alumni services staff member at a business school, you're probably finding that MBAs are more frequently asking you for assistance in finding nonprofit jobs. One student or alum may inquire about community development jobs on the East Coast, while another wants to find an education-related job in California. We make it easier for you to help those MBAs by sending your school over 200 nonprofit job announcements a year representing different issue areas, different functions, and different parts of the country. Even if our listings do not match every inquiry, they can be used to provide examples of MBA-oriented nonprofit jobs, which in turn will help the MBAs focus their searches.
The MNC strives to provide a balanced and representative array of carefully screened opportunities. We monitor the nonprofit job market in major cities to identify attractive openings (e.g., for CFOs, marketing directors, and program managers), with salaries typically in the $65-150K range. We also contact nonprofit employers we think would be of particular interest to MBAs. The jobs can be publicized through your career center, nonprofit management program, and/or alumni services office. Note that these opportunities are NOT posted on the MNC's own website — they are distributed exclusively through MNC Partner Schools.
