Samra HaiderSamra Haider (Wharton)

Samra helped to codify REDF’s due diligence lessons learned; the tool that Samra worked on during her internship was published on REDF’s website in 2008. Samra also led a REDF research project on employment in the green sector. (Summer 2007)

Alexis HyderAlexis Hyder (Ross)

REDF provides funding and business assistance to a portfolio of nonprofit enterprises that employ very low-income individuals who have experienced incarceration, mental illness and/or homelessness. Alexis worked with REDF on marketing and communications, public sector partnerships, and assisting a portfolio organization with the marketing and visibility of its social enterprise. (Summer 2010)

REDF provides funding and business assistance to a portfolio of nonprofit enterprises that employ very low-income individuals who have experienced incarceration, mental illness and/or homelessness. Jennifer worked with REDF on refining program design, codifying REDF’s lessons learned, and analyzing growth options for an existing social enterprise. (Summer 2010)

Soumya worked with REDF on strategic planning and program design, as well as assisted a portfolio organization with social cost analysis. (Summer 2009)

Sophie PinkardSophie Pinkard (Stanford)

Sophie worked on development of various tools, including management dashboards for two portfolio organizations to help them monitor key cost and revenue drivers, operational indicators, and social metrics. (Summer 2008)

Janet ZhouJanet Zhou (Harvard)

REDF provides funding and business assistance to a portfolio of nonprofit enterprises that employ very low-income individuals who have experienced incarceration, mental illness and/or homelessness. Janet worked with REDF on assessing the feasibility of scaling social enterprises through acquisitions, and she developed a pricing tool and a replication structure for two portfolio organizations.
